Submission & Ranking Process

Meta Search Engine Characteristics A meta search engine itself does not index or rank websites. Instead, it queries multiple websites simultaneously and will deliver a combined results page of the best sites from each search engine. The higher you rank on each individual search engine, the higher your site will rank on a meta search engine.

Ordering Results WhatUSeek sorts its results based on the number of times a website was found in the top rankings. For example, if your site was found in the top 10 on 5 search engines, your site will be ranked above a site who was found in the top 10 on only 2 search engines. The higher your site ranks on a search engine, the better chances you have on getting higher in WhatUSeek.

Getting Listed (Comments) You can submit your website to WhatUSeek's internal database and through each partnering search engine individually. We attempt to cover as many search partners as possible within this guide. Use the links in the overview section of this page to locate a partner for additional information on how to optimize your rankings for each individual search partner.

Submission Time Getting listed in WhatUSeek is usually instantaneous once your site becomes ranked in a partner's search database (Wait time varies per partner). Since GoTo is the fastest submission partner, we suggest you use GoTo to submit your site through (see additional information on GoTo).
